Mauritius

Mauritius is the highest-converting long-haul destination in the Indian market and the most commoditised. Every agent has been quoted it, the hotel stock is well known, and the difference between suppliers comes down to two things: which properties you actually hold rates on, and whether transfers and excursions run on time on the day. We operate the island as a single ground unit — airport transfers, inter-resort movements, and the full excursion set from catamaran cruises and the Ile aux Cerfs day to Chamarel, Black River Gorges and the south coast circuit. Because the island is small, excursion sequencing is where itineraries gain or lose value, and we build the day order around the coast the client is staying on rather than a standard template. Indian dining and Hindu wedding and honeymoon handling are established here in a way they aren't elsewhere on long-haul — a genuine advantage when selling to the family and celebration segments.
